DVS exam station now located in Westview Center

Hastings drivers who need to take a driving test aren’t going downtown anymore. The Drivers License Examining Station was formerly located at 217 Ramsey Street in downtown Hastings. It is now doing business in Westview Center, at 1355 South Frontage Road, Suite 150.

The station started offering services at its new location Sept. 1.

According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Driver and Vehicle Services division, the exam station’s services have not changed. The location in Westview Center continues to offer drivers both road and written knowledge tests for CDL (Class A, B and C) drivers and Class D; driver license applications and renewals/replacements; and duplicate or enhance driver licenses. Tests are also available for moped and motorcycle licenses.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The phone number is 651-437-4884. Road tests can be scheduled online at dps.mn.gov.
