Regina scores high with patient satisfaction

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently ranked Regina Medical Center above the National average in 10/10 categories, and at or above the Minnesota Average on 9/10, while conducting its national rating scale called HCAHPS. HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) is a national survey that asks patients about their experiences during a recent hospital stay.

The survey randomly selects recently discharged patients and asks them to rate 10 important aspects of their hospital experience. This information is then compiled and used so patients are able to make a fair and objective comparison between hospitals.

The HCAHPS survey allows consumers to go online and select up to three hospitals, to see how they compare in terms of customer satisfaction.
