Cruise-In car show is Saturday in downtown Hastings
The eighth of 10 Cruise-In car shows will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept.4, on Second Street and some of the side streets in downtown Hastings.
Major changes outlined at Hastings Country Club; restaurant now open to the public
Four major changes are planned for this fall and next year at the Hastings Country Club. Starting Sept. 1 the club, fighting a downturn in the economy and in the golf industry, has dramatically cut rates for members, opened its restaurant to the public, offered tee times to the public every day and come up with a new golf-only option for members.
